Whitestone Elementary PTA invites you to participate in our annual Reflections Arts Contest!

This exciting program encourages students to explore their creativity and express themselves through the arts. Each year, thousands of students across the country share their talents, and we can’t wait to see what our Wildcats create this year!

The 2025–2026 theme is: “I Belong”

Students are invited to create original works of art in any (or all!) of the following categories:

Dance Choreography – Create an original dance.
Film Production – Produce an original film.
Literature – Write a story, poem, or essay.
Music Composition – Compose an original musical piece.
Photography – Capture an original photograph.
Visual Arts – Create a 2D work of art (3D is not accepted by Texas PTA).

Important Details

Submission Deadline: Tuesday, October 21st ( drop in front vestibule box by 3pm)

Student Responsibility: Entries must be the student’s own original work.
Awards & Recognition: Entries are judged on creativity, interpretation of the theme, and artistic merit. Selected entries will move on to council, state, and potentially national levels, where students may receive recognition, awards, and opportunities to showcase their work.

We encourage you to talk with your child about this year’s theme and support them in developing their ideas. We look forward to seeing how our Wildcats will bring this year’s theme to life!
